Dear Sivaram Jee,

Thanks a Ton for your Great Comment full of appreciation. I am very very happy to note that you liked my rendition so much that you listened to my song few number of times. Yes. I tried to put "pathos' in my rendition similar to original song by Kishore Kumar. And you are correct to say that this Ghazal type of sad songs sounds very melodious with Harmonium more than Guitar.

I am glad to know that Bhairavi is one of your favorite Ragas.

May God BLess You and Your Family,

Regards,
Dr. Kamath

Dr Kamath-ji

This is my favourite song and what I liked most was you have sang so well that I could say you have brought a new dimension to this song . Although this is a party song with guitar based background for some reason I feel now that the harmonium suited more for this ghazal than original guitar beat . I listened couple of times and I am very glad that you have chosen harmonium for this song . It is  fitting dedication to Sablu who is a big fan of Kishore and for guitar interludes and also he is a big fan of the son of this genius composer Burman dada

Bhairavi is all time favourite raag and will post my comments on he other blog after listening to your flute version

Thanks

Sivaram

Dear Mr. Nathan Saab,

Thanks a Billion for passing me in "First Class With Distinction". I am completely happy with your grading. I feel very good that finally I proved to you that I am a "versatile singer". Nice to see your comment that finally you discovered that I can sing with "filmy" touch too. When you say this it means a Lot to me as you are an outstanding listener and now a Sulekha Singer too. Your comment means finally I achieved what I had set out to prove to you. I am still waiting valuable comment from our Great Singer and music critique our Great Gopal Saab for his comment and waiting to see if now he says that I can get a singing assignment in Bollywood (just kidding).

So far, I have sung 4 different songs on Sulekha : one each with Darshan Do (Hemant Kumar), Jaane Kahan (Mukesh), Jinhe Naaz Hai (Rafi) and Dil Aaj Shayar Hai (Kishore Kumar). I have yet to sing a filmi song (non-bhajan) of Hemant Kumar which I will do in near future.

What I liked the most in all the comments I received in my 4 singing blogs is the fact that nobody said that I sound like a particular singer. This means that readers found me to be singing in my own voice and not in some other singer's voice. So I am successful now that I sing in my own voice. This is what I had set out to achieve for years. Thanks to Sulekha Platform. Let me have your opinion on this statement of mine. Nathan Saab.

Also I am drafting my comment on your singing "Jalte Hai Jiske Liye" your debut song on Sulekha, I will post my comment on your blog within next 24 hours. Please HOLD your breath until then. Thoda Sabr (Patience) kijiye. Patience me kuch aur hi mazza hai.

So Long!

Cheers!

Dear Dr.Kamath,

Fantastic song! I am very fond of this genre of SDB-Kishore songs which are sung by the hero with 'hurt' feelings , typically in a party 'mehfil'. I remember another two of the same kind - 'Kaise kahe hum pyarne humko kya kya khel dikhayi' from 'Sharmilee' and 'Duniya O Duniya, tera jawaab nahin' from 'Naya Zamana'.

It is very thoughtful of you to dedicate this to our dear friend Sablu-ji, who is the 'Kishore Kumar' of sulekha.com! He is rising from 'good','better' to 'best' with each of his postings! As for you, you really delivered the song very well. The moment you start singing a Dev Anand song, the 'filmy' touch that we were expecting automatically surfaces! I now have no doubt that you are a 'versatile' singer! But though you have now covered four singers, I feel your voice comes closest to 'Hemant Kumar'! So ek Hemant Da-ka romantic geet ho jaay!

BTW aap-se prerit hokar I have also tried to sing! I chose the great Talat Mahmood as the 'bakra' for my first attempt! Please visit my latest blog and give your 'frank' advice, though it may be of asking to 'keep my mouth fully shut!'

Regards,
S.V.Nathan.

Dear Dr Kamath

This song is one of my most favourite Dev Anand songs. And it was penned by all time fav poet -- Kavi Neeraj.  Thanks for picking this song.   You have sung his song well. Dedicating it to Sablu Mukesh, who happens to be a Kishore Kumar fan, was a good idea. I apprecite your gesture. With your knowledge of ragas and your fine taste in music, I am sure we would get to hear great classic oldies in your voice.   I wish you all the very best for your singing. Cheers and Regards.

Dear Sablu Mukesh,

You are just fantastique and you are a very honest person. Thank you very very much for your longest comment in Sulelha so far. This shows your sincerity. I really cherish all your comments. And particularly this comment is highly encouraging.

God willing some day we will sit down face to face and create music with you as a singer and also your melodious Guitar in the background.

Whenever you have time in future, you may give BGM to my song "Dil Aaj Shayar Hai"  with your Guitar chords and therafter e-mail to me. This song will sound much better with Guitar in the background. No hurry. I mean whenever you have time.

You comment is so lovely. What more can I say? You have made me me speechless with your wonderful comment and wishes.

GOD BLESS YOU and YOUR GUITAR!

Kind Regards
Dr. Kamath

Dear Sir,
Sorry for not responding in your previous Bhairavi related blog. I am actually on my annual vacation and constantly travelling in and around Bangalore. Tomorrow I shall lkeave for Sirsi where I will remain till 18th June.
The song is awesome in its scope and meaning, so was your rendition. I have no words to express, thats it. You captured the mood of the song like a true professional. Once again, a gem of a performance from you.

Dear Dr. Kamath Sir,

Hats off to you for your soulful rendition.

First of all, I will pay my millions of thanks to you for dedicating this awesome song to me. I was touched by your great gesture for which I most soulfully reciprocate your wishes, your efforts and your marvellous talents in various aspects. To receive such a big treat from a great artist like you, I take  my great honor and feel fortunate.

Ek Saccha Kalakaar Hi Kalaakaar Ki Kala Ko Pehchaan Sakta Hai

We are an artist because of Grace of Almighty, Public’s love and inspirations and after all our dedication and devotion which is the prominent aspect to succeed in any field

I wish, I have accompanied your rendition on my guitar chords. Hope, God will bring those golden moments in our future. I will definitely try my level best to include my guitar chords in your song BGM as you have desired. Just give me some time. It will be my pleasure for the same. No doubt, you have brought a unique melody by rendering this song on your BGM harmonium which is the soul of any musical instrument. And one should always keep in mind as the chief point behind music that for any song’s composition, harmonium is the base and songs are composed based on the notes, scales, octaves, raga et.c on harmonium. This the main reason behind that before learning classical music one should have harmonium. I mentioned this important point in my comment for the readers and listeners who will be interested to learn music and moreover they should know the importance of harmonium.

Now about your rendition: You have brilliantly rendered this song of  Kishore da on your harmonium. It is very soothing and melodious to listen in your soulful voice. Your are also excellent at playing harmonium and you have perfectly matched the song’s tune, scale and octave. I congratulate you on rendering this awesome and one of the challenging and complicated songs so fabulously which is quite flexible song starting from low octave and middium to a very high octave. Specially at appoint ye pyaar koyee khilona nahin hai here much power and feelings we should bring. I can make out how much hard it is but you have renderd it at perfectly by taking it on high octave. And in fact you are correct this song is actually a guitar based song which was brilliantly rendered by our beloved Kishoreda from film Gambler. I recall the awesome playback on Devo Sahab who too is one of my favorites star. How magnificent was his action and a big moustache on his lovely face and fantastic expression of retaliation and relevant facts depicted by great lyricsts Sahir  which Devanand  was conveying to the actress Zahida while he was rendering this fabulous number of KK which is also one of my most favorites. And very touching line Hum to musafir  hai koyee safar mein hum to gujar jayeege hi, lekin lagayaa hai jo daoo humne wo jeet kar jayenge hi. I too love to sing this song on my guitar chords.  I have rendered it in some musical program may be three years before which became very super-hit in the function.

I once again extend my soulful thanks to you for dedicating this soulful song to me and I salute you for rendering this song so beautifully  This awesome song of yours will remain in my soul forever.

God bless your talent and keep you healthy forever.

Regards,

Sablu Mukesh
